MIDWEST REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to sales strategy and ensures attainment of company sales goals and  profitability in the Midwest Region.
• Travel as necessary for field visits with Brokers and to assess trends, identify opportunities, and increase brand awareness and presence in natural health foods channel.
• Conducts monthly  one-on-one review with all Midwest Regional Brokers to build effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the   improvement of Brokers’ and direct reps sales activity and performance.
• Broadens distribution into all natural retailers.
• Develop and use objective tools, information (i.e. SPINS, WF Portal) to plan effective and appropriate account activity.
• Assist Brokers in preparation of proposals/presentations.
• Provides timely feedback on performance and other initiative updates.
• Coordinate business activities so they are fully aligned with company activities and objectives.
• Controls expenses to meet company guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• MUST HAVE  3+ yrs of significant Regional Manager sales leadership experience in the Whole Body and/or Natural Living departments of the natural channel.
• MUST be able to multi-task in a fast paced growth company.

PRODUCTION PLANNER

Responsibilities:

• Schedule production orders effectively to meet customer order requirements.
• Maintain minimum FG stock levels, while meeting fill rate and inventory carry goals.
• Understand Manufacturing constraints and plan accordingly.
• Work closely with Purchasing to understand the RM replenishment cycle and advise of upcoming Manufacturing plans that will influence supply requirements.
• 
Review and plan against sales forecast. Give feedback to sales regarding historical seasonal requirements, upcoming OOS and other issues relating to customer order fulfillment.
• 
Monitor material inventories, request cycle counts or incoming receipt count audits as necessary.
• 
Track progress of Manufacturing and update job schedule accordingly.
• 
Be aware of Manufacturing Capacity and work closely with Manufacturing to review and adjust the schedule based upon performance variables.
• 
Support new product launch activities in a cross-departmental capacity.
• 
Understand and support BOM revision control.
• 
Manage and support projects as directed by department manager.
• 
Edit item master information to ensure accuracy of MRP functionality.
• 
Adjust schedule to meet changing variables (customer demand), sales forecasting accuracy shortfall and last-minute business opportunity drops/adds.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years related experience
• cGMP experience a plus
• APICS certification a plus
• Proficient use of Excel & MS Office
• Proficient use of ERP systems; NetSuite a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC) and/or 5S.

MAINTENANCE TECH

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and fix equipment, to eliminate downtime and maintain safety.
• Training on new equipment for production and sanitation departments.
• Ongoing training on equipment set up and safety.
• Order parts and coordinate repairs in a timely manner.
• Be able to communicate with outside tech departments, like Grainger & McMaster Carr.
• Follow & ensure compliance on all Safety procedures including chemical & material handling, Material Safety Data Sheet instructions, Code of Safe Practices, LOTO, and all safety programs.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order.
• Schedule & ensure ongoing preventative maintenance programs, logs, and inspections.
• Help maintain parts inventory and an organized manuals database.
• Help keep maintenance department clean and organized.
• Be conscious of and follow all quality control/quality assurance procedures.
• Work with lab and production personnel as required & necessary.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree or related experience plus 2 years experience
• Available to work AM shift 5AM-1:30PM
• Proven experience in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices & OSHA standards
• An independent, organized self-starter & team player who can assess needs and deliver results
• Amazing attention to detail
• Forklift experience preferred
• Spanish language skills a plus

NETWORK SUPPORT & SYSTEM ADMININSTRATOR

Responsibilities:

• Main IT point of contact.
• Must be able to administer the data closet (network/server configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting).
• Administrator for NetSuite products.
• Desktop and Help Desk support across the organization.
• Maintain and repair the Company’s passive network (cables, hubs, patch cords, and panels) and active hardware (switchers, routers, hubs, and network cards).
• Support the email system; recommend design changes. Assist with backup and granular restore support of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, Web Access and Microsoft Active Directory   servers.  Project lead for possible migration to Office 365.
• Design, maintain, and repair network servers. Make sure appropriate hardware and software is installed to meet technology demands of the Company.
• Train users in use of software, hardware, and network systems.
• Model and forecast LAN traffic to ensure sufficient capacity is in place to meet growth.  Liaison with ISP.
• Recommend direction for network architecture based on traffic requirements and technological evolution.
• Install, configure and maintain workstation computers and other related hardware components, network cards and software. Receive, investigate and respond to user questions and problems   encountered with hardware/software. Analyze and correct problems.
• Arrange for return of defective parts and warranty service to manufacturer or supplies.
• Document procedures for installation, use, maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of the Company’s information assets. Document system procedures.
• Maintain ledger of all computer inventory and control over company assets.
• Work with CFO to develop a disaster recovery plan ensuring business continuity.
• Other IT, Data, phone, or communication projects that may arise from time-to-time.

Requirements: 

• BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience maintaining Microsoft server environments
• Experience troubleshooting firewalls, VPN’s, Internet, file servers, backups, servers and clients.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must have experience in the following:
   • Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Windows, Mac OS, Network systems and firewalls, VPN, hardware support.
• Nice to have experience in the following:
  • Netsuite, Quoteworks, Access, Bartender, EDI, Barracuda, Vipre,
• Knowledge and familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.  Positive attitude in daily interaction with end users.

QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain QC procedures, specifications and testing methods for each raw material, bulk product & finished good.
• Manage daily activities of QC Inspectors.
• Enforce current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) throughout manufacturing.
• Perform release testing, complete batch record and issue appropriate stickers or labels to batches based on batch record.
• Manage the microbiological testing of finished goods and required raw materials.
• Responsible to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the QC lab.
• Strive to improve the quality of the products and process.
• Document all pertinent information concerning bad or rejected raw materials and finished products.  Quarantine all related product.
• Maintain equipment in good working order. 
• Keep records of maintenance and schedule regular calibration tests as required.
• Selects proper QC equipment and performs verification as necessary.
• Understand and support the SWTC employee manual, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must wear appropriate protective gear when working with Essential Oil products, oils, creams, powders or any other related materials containing dusts or strong odors or as mandated on the   Material • Safety Data Sheet and communicate necessary information to staff.
• Must use back support belt when lifting or moving any boxed or drums >25 lbs.  No lifting over 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Must report to supervisor any unsafe or hazardous condition
• Perform other reasonable tasks and projects as directed by Management.

Requirements: 

• A college degree in Chemistry, Biology or Science.

• 1-5 years of experience working in QC laboratory.
• Available to work Monday – Friday 8AM - 4:30PM
• Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Prefer cosmetic or food experience.
• Knowledge of ISO & cGMP in a cosmetic/food environment preferred.

COMPOUNDING TECH

Responsibilities:

• Mix, blend, cook, pump, and perform all tasks related to completing all required batches following batch record and job order schedule.
• Understand and follow all Job Orders to obtain daily production goals.
• Ensure previously weighed materials are accurate.
• Perform all tasks as required to maintain accurate inventories.
• Be conscious of and follow all quality control/quality assurance procedures.  Communicate concerns, issues, and anomalies with the QC department.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping on batch records, log books and other documentation as required including measurements, temperatures, and specifications.
• Follow proper handling and storage of all goods.  Hazardous materials must be properly labeled and stored and used with appropriate equipment and PPEs.
• Precise pre-weigh of compounding batches, accurate recording of weights & lot number information.
• Assemble and disassemble any related equipment including pumps, fittings, blenders, hoses, etc.  Assist in proper sanitation needs when possible.
• Be conscious of and follow all quality control/quality assurance procedures.
• Seeks out innovations leading to improved accuracy, reduction of inefficiencies.
• Follow all Safety procedures including chemical handling, Material Safety Data Sheet instructions, use of personal safety equipment and other as instructed
• Maintain area sanitation and cleanliness at all times. Follow all sanitation operating procedures.
• Follow safe material handling procedures including moving pallets, drums, cases and other bulk handling

Requirements:

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Available to work 1:30PM-10PM (M-F)
• Proven experience in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Prefer a background in cosmetics, or in chemical compounding, an industrial kitchen, steam kettles or related experience.
• An independent, organized self-starter & team player who can assess needs and deliver results.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, & database entry.
• Proficient in weights & measures.
• Amazing attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

Coordinate product development projects
• Source and negotiate pricing on packaging.
• Work with R&D to coordinate stability and compatibility of packaging components and formulas.
• Capture all the specifications for new products, communicate and manage in database.
• Coordinate product testing and surveying|
Manage project budgets and prepare financial analysis for review

Build and Maintain cost and pricing analysis of new products.

Coordinate market research – utilize SPINS and product searches-both online and store visits.
• Compile and present survey data to the management team.
• Monitor industry developments and identify new product opportunities through web feeds, vendor visits, periodic trade shows.

Requirements:

• BA or equivalent experience in Business or a related field.
• At least one of year of related work experience in product development, vendor relations or budgeting.
• Proficient in Excel, and database systems.
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Experience in working with cross functional teams highly desirable.
• A passion for the cosmetic/personal care/natural industry.
