As the Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for collateral, signage, e-blasts web/social media images and file management of those items.  You will be required to maintain existing collateral as well as create new artwork and create samples and mock-ups for presentation and validating purposes. You will need to be adept at proofing and communicating with printers to ensure accurate artwork. You’ll also need to have a critical eye to ensure accuracy and consistency of completed collateral received from printers.  This position reports to the Creative Director and is in-house only. Required Skills:

• Must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Assist with recruitment by job posting creation and placement, screening, background checks, and drafting offer letters.

• Manage manufacturing operations meeting production targets while ensuring quality standards
• Create an interdependent, engaged workforce through effective hiring, coaching, training, and performance management ensuring safety, quality and continuous learning
• Develop strategic objectives that address quality, cost, efficiency and overall continuous improvement
• Ensure completion of production orders per schedule in order to meet customer order requirements
• Collaborate with the Planning Department, optimize schedules between the Compounding and Packing groups to maximize flow of product, eliminate waste and maintain customer order fill   rate goals
• Identify manufacturing constraints and work with Engineering, QA/QC Departments to implement corrective actions, and to onboard improvements
• Incorporate our vision and values into day to day activities and behaviors, guide and motivate others to remain committed to our beliefs.  An example is to create processes that support our   sustainability initiatives by eliminating waste, increasing usage of renewable resources, reducing energy consumption and diverting more material to the recycling stream
• Provide monthly monitoring and reporting of established KPI’s. Search for industry benchmarking opportunities and develop new performance measures
• Collect and interpret quantitative data, present data in a clear summary form for organizational performance review


• Minimum of 5 years experience managing in a manufacturing environment. Food or related manufacturing experience a plus
 Knowledge and understanding of the following idealogies: Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC), 5S, TAKT time, Lean manufacturing, Lean inventory, Kanban, visual management systems
• A passion for leading people and the ability to initiate and execute upon comprehensive training programs
 Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite of products with advanced Excel skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
• An understanding of the importance of Continuous Improvement, and the ability to drive continuous improvement efforts with every transaction and interaction

• Contributes to sales strategy and ensures attainment of company sales goals and  profitability in the East Coast Region
• Travel as necessary for field visits with Brokers to assess trends, identify opportunities, and increase brand awareness and presence in natural health foods channel.

• Support the Supply Chain and Inventory Management functions of the company through accurate, efficient and timely completion of inventory transactions.

• Mix, blend, cook, pump, and perform all tasks related to completing all required compounds while meeting all specifications
• Complete all required documentation including measurements, temperatures, specifications and other documentation as required
