• Manage manufacturing operations meeting production targets while ensuring quality standards
• Create an interdependent, engaged workforce through effective hiring, coaching, training, and performance management ensuring safety, quality and continuous learning
• Develop strategic objectives that address quality, cost, efficiency and overall continuous improvement
• Ensure completion of production orders per schedule in order to meet customer order requirements
• Collaborate with the Planning Department, optimize schedules between the Compounding and Packing groups to maximize flow of product, eliminate waste and maintain customer order fill   rate goals
• Identify manufacturing constraints and work with Engineering, QA/QC Departments to implement corrective actions, and to onboard improvements
• Incorporate our vision and values into day to day activities and behaviors, guide and motivate others to remain committed to our beliefs.  An example is to create processes that support our   sustainability initiatives by eliminating waste, increasing usage of renewable resources, reducing energy consumption and diverting more material to the recycling stream
• Provide monthly monitoring and reporting of established KPI’s. Search for industry benchmarking opportunities and develop new performance measures
• Collect and interpret quantitative data, present data in a clear summary form for organizational performance review


• Minimum of 5 years experience managing in a manufacturing environment. Food or related manufacturing experience a plus
 Knowledge and understanding of the following idealogies: Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC), 5S, TAKT time, Lean manufacturing, Lean inventory, Kanban, visual management systems
• A passion for leading people and the ability to initiate and execute upon comprehensive training programs
 Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite of products with advanced Excel skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
• An understanding of the importance of Continuous Improvement, and the ability to drive continuous improvement efforts with every transaction and interaction

• Troubleshoot and fix equipment, to eliminate downtime and maintain safety
• Training on new equipment for production and sanitation departments
• Ongoing training on equipment set up and safety
• Order parts and coordinate repairs in a timely manner.  Be able to communicate with outside tech departments, like Grainger & McMaster Carr
• Follow & ensure compliance on all Safety procedures including chemical & material handling, Material Safety Data Sheet instructions, Code of Safe Practices, LOTO, and all safety programs
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order.  Schedule & ensure ongoing preventative maintenance programs, logs, and inspections
• Help maintain parts inventory and an organized manuals database
• Help keep maintenance department clean and organized
• Be conscious of and follow all quality control/quality assurance procedures.  Work with lab and production personnel as required & necessary


• Technical Degree or related experience plus 2 years experience
• Proven experience in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices & OSHA standards
• An independent, organized self-starter & team player who can assess needs and deliver results
• Amazing attention to detail
• Forklift experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus

• Coordinate product development projects
• Source and negotiate pricing on packaging
• Work with R&D to coordinate stability and compatibility of packaging components and formulas
• Capture all the specifications for new products, communicate and manage in database
• Coordinate product testing and surveying
• Manage project budgets and prepare financial analysis for review
• Build and Maintain cost and pricing analysis of new products
• Monitor profitability timelines – estimated sales forecasts, launch budgets and ROI periods for new products
• Work with PD/Creative departments on market research
• Coordinate market research – utilize SPINS and product searches-both online and store visits
• Compile and present survey data to the management team
• Monitor industry developments and identify new product opportunities through web feeds, vendor visits, periodic trade shows


• BA or equivalent experience in Business or a related field.
• At least one of year of related work experience in product development, vendor relations or budgeting.
• Proficient in Excel, and database systems.
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Experience in working with cross functional teams highly desirable.
• A passion for the cosmetic/personal care/natural industry.



• Support the Supply Chain and Inventory Management functions of the company through accurate, efficient and timely completion of inventory transactions.
• Will ensure the integrity of ERP system data via database management and supporting cycle count, paperwork management, and related process audits.
• Close production & compounding jobs in database in a timely manner, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Fulfill sales orders in a timely manner, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Input inventory cycle counts and inventory transfers. Investigate inventory variances.
• Actively support paperwork flow by coordinating timely paperwork submission from Production, Compounding and Shipping personnel.
• Request cycle counts for items where discrepancies are discovered and support cycle count efforts.
• Support Planning & Purchasing functions via data entry, report generation & review, and other tasks as assigned.


• Knowledge of inventory practices and principles
• 50+ wpm typing; adept at keyboard shortcuts and 10-key
• Proven experience with NetSuite or related database/ERP system
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Intermediate level of MS Excel
