HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment by job posting creation and placement, background checks, and drafting offer letters.
• Schedule and coordinate on-boarding for new hires; conduct orientation and collect documentation.
• Maintain and update HR database, and coordinate with payroll on timekeeping administration and review.
• Administer benefits and leave programs.
• Ensure timely and consistent completion of performance review process, coordinate with appropriate departments.
• Manage the employee safety committee, conduct monthly safety inspections and trainings.
• Coordinate employee events and celebrations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in the HR field
• Must be conversationally fluent in Spanish
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel & Word
• Proficient with HRIS database systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.

PT RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE - MILL VALLEY EO EXCHANGE

We’re looking for someone to help staff our beautiful retail store in Mill Valley on Sunday, Monday and Fridays.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the  routine inspection and sample collection of incoming materials including, but not limited to liquids, powders, labels, packaging, and containers against   standards/specifications.
• Conduct testing and/or compare samples to standards to ensure items meet specifications.
• Maintain logs and all related documentation according to the SOP's and GDP's.
• Input data into spreadsheets or database programs.
• Maintain lab equipment utilized in proper working order.
• Routine auditing of production line process.
• Planned inspections of scaled raw materials for accuracy in compounding.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience  working in a QC role
• Prefer cosmetic or food experience
• Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel. Must be able to utilize computer to enter and track data
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills. Self starter, must be able to work  independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to read and follow documents (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Good math skills plus the ability to convert between Standard and Metric systems
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and fix equipment, to eliminate downtime and maintain safety.
• Training on new equipment for production and sanitation departments.
• Ongoing training on equipment setup and safety.
• Order parts and coordinate repairs in a timely manner.  Be able to communicate with outside tech departments, like Grainger & McMaster Carr.
• Follow & ensure compliance on all Safety procedures including chemical & material handling, Material Safety Data Sheet instructions, Code of Safe Practices, LOTO, and all safety programs.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order. Schedule & ensure ongoing preventative maintenance programs, logs, and inspections.
• Help maintain parts inventory and an organized manuals database.
• Help keep maintenance department clean and organized.
• Be conscious of and follow all quality control/quality assurance procedures.  Work with lab and production personnel as required & necessary.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or Technical Degree preferred
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Prefer a background working with batching and mixing processes in a manufacturing environment, including foods or specialty chemicals.
• An independent, organized self-starter & team player who can assess needs and deliver results
• Amazing attention to detail
• Forklift experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus

 MANUFACTURING MANAGER

You will directly support the strategic growth plan for EO Products and help us achieve our goal of realizing world-class manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing operations meeting production targets while ensuring quality standards.
• Create an interdependent, engaged workforce through effective hiring, coaching, training, and performance management ensuring safety, quality and continuous learning.
• Develop strategic objectives that address quality, cost, efficiency and overall continuous improvement.
• Ensure completion of production orders per schedule in order to meet customer order requirements.
• Collaborate with the Planning Department, optimize schedules between the Compounding and Packing groups to maximize flow of product, eliminate waste and maintain customer order fill   rate goals.
• Identify manufacturing constraints and work with Engineering, QA/QC Departments to implement corrective actions, and to onboard improvements.
• Incorporate our vision and values into day to day activities and behaviors, guide and motivate others to remain committed to our beliefs.  An example is to create processes that support our   sustainability initiatives by eliminating waste, increasing usage of renewable resources, reducing energy consumption and diverting more material to the recycling stream.
• Provide monthly monitoring and reporting of established KPI’s. Search for industry benchmarking opportunities and develop new performance measures.
• Collect and interpret quantitative data, present data in a clear summary form for organizational performance review.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience managing in a manufacturing environment. Food or related manufacturing experience a plus.
 Knowledge and understanding of the following idealogies: Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC), 5S, TAKT time, Lean manufacturing, Lean inventory, Kanban, visual management systems.
• A passion for leading people and the ability to initiate and execute upon comprehensive training programs.
 Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite of products with advanced Excel skills.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• An understanding of the importance of Continuous Improvement, and the ability to drive continuous improvement efforts with every transaction and interaction.
