How much water should I use in my diffuser?

Here are some quick tips on how to fill your diffuser:

•

Always attach the base power adaptor before filling with water.

•

Always fill to just below the max fill line (approximately 1/8"). Overfilling can cause the unit to product no mist or leak water.

•

Always use clean (distilled is best), cool water. Hot water can cause the unit to malfunction.

•

Make sure the lid and cover are both replaced properly when you’re done filling the diffuser. The clear lid should be placed on the top of the unit first, then the white cover should be secured on top. Make sure the cover is locked in the proper position (with the everyone™ logo over the buttons.)

How do I use essential oils with my diffuser?

•

Only use 100% pure essential oils.

•

This diffuser only needs two or three drops of essential oil to fill any room with delicious scents. Save your precious oils and only use a few drops (if it’s not enough scent, you can always add more.)

•

Some oils will build up faster than others, periodically check that your transducer (that small, metallic disc in the bottom of the unit) is clean. If it gets dirty, you can clean your unit:

    1. Empty the unit of water

    2. Fill the diffuser with a mixture of vinegar & water (half and half should work great)

    3. Let the mixture sit in the diffuser for three hours (please don’t turn the diffuser on while you’re soaking it!)

    4. Empty the diffuser and enjoy a clean diffuser!

Why isn’t my diffuser getting power?

•

Make sure the connection at the bottom of your diffuser is secure.

•

Make sure you’ve pushed the power button on the diffuser (once for a continuous stream of mist, twice for thirty second bursts). The power button is the half-moon shaped button on the right.

•

Check that the USB plug you’ve chosen (or power outlet if you’re using the provided wall adaptor) is getting power. You can easily check this by plugging another device into the plug.

Why is my diffuser leaking water?

•

The diffuser is meant to be filled after you’ve attached the plug to the underside of the unit. If you’ve tried to plug in the adaptor after filling it with water, it is very possible that water has spilled down the air intake valve. Try turning the unit off, emptying it, and refilling after you’ve plugged it in.

•

Water may have entered the air intake valve by tipping, overfilling, or accidentally pouring water into the valve. Empty the unit, assure that it’s plugged in, and refill it to the max fill line and try again.

•

The everyone™ diffuser is equipped with a cover that locks down. It is possible to lock the cover down backwards, so make sure that the hole in the cover is lined up with the output spout before locking it down. (Helpful tip: the everyone™ logo should be above the buttons when it’s put together properly.)

•

Make sure your water level is at or below the max fill line. If it seems close, try taking out some water and see if that helps.

Why is there no mist coming out of my diffuser?

•

Make sure your cover is locked and properly oriented (reminder, the everyone™ logo should be lined up with the buttons) so the output spout can work properly.

•

Make sure the air vent is clear of any obstructions. The air vent is the long vent located to the left of the output spout when the buttons are facing you. This vent needs air to function, if it’s blocked it won’t work properly. Always place your diffuser on a stable surface such as a desk, dresser, or table.

•

Putting too much water in your diffuser can result in leaking water or low/no mist. Make sure to only fill the diffuser to the max fill line. If you’re getting low/no mist, try taking out some water and see if that fixes the problem.

•

Putting too much oil into the unit can also reduce the amount of mist. We recommend 2-3 drops of essential oil.

•

Remember that the everyone™ diffuser has two mist settings, continuous and thirty second bursts. If you’ve pushed the power button twice, your diffuser will give out bursts of scent alternating with no mist. To check if you’ve chosen the thirty second bursts, turn the unit off then push the power button once.

•

The unit will automatically shut off when all the water is gone. Check to make sure there’s still water and oil in your unit.

How do these buttons work again?

The everyone™ diffuser has two buttons. The power button is the larger, half-moon shaped button on the right.

    1. Push the power button once for a continuous stream of mist.

    2. Push it twice for thirty second bursts of mist.

    3. Push it a third time to turn the unit off (note: the unit will automatically shut off when the water is gone).

The other button is the light button. The light button is the small, round button on the left.

    1. Push the light button once for a warm, white light.

    2. Push it a second time for a rotating spectrum of calming color.

    3. If you prefer a single color, wait for it to come around in the spectrum and then push the light button to pause on your color.

    4. Pushing the light button a fourth time will turn the light off. (You don’t need light on for the diffuser to work.)
