How do I place an order?
If you’re a new user, you’ll need to create an account. Then simply place your item(s) in your Cart and proceed to Checkout. Before submitting your order, please check to confirm that your billing and shipping addresses are correct. Our system may decline the purchase if the billing information does not match the information associated with the credit card being used. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Can I cancel my order?
Please confirm your cart details before checking out. Once they have has been submitted, we are unable to edit or cancel orders in the system.
What is your security policy?
EO Products uses standard industry practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. This website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt information such as credit card details. Any contact information obtained via this website is stored solely in a secure database. No entity other than EO Products has access to your information. Your contact information will never be sold, published, or disclosed to any party or company. What are your shipping policies?
- Our goal is to ship your order within 2 days and for you to receive it within 3-7 business days.
- Orders placed after noon PST on Friday will be processed the following business day.
- Orders of $50 or more: Free ground shipping (excludes gallons).
- Orders less than $50: $6.99 flat rate for ground shipping.
- Non-contiguous U.S. orders (Alaska, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and APO/FPO boxes): $35 flat rate for ground shipping.
- FedEx 2-Day and Overnight guaranteed shipping are available for an additional cost. Please contact customer service for rates. (Sanitizers contain alcohol and therefore cannot be shipped with expedited delivery.)

- Within the continental U.S., we ship via FedEx Ground or United States Postal Service.
- Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and APO/FPO boxes are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, we send tracking information automatically to the same email you used to place your order. (Sometimes emails get sent to the junk folder, so it’s a good idea to check there periodically.) Do you offer preorder?
When will I get my preorder delivery?
We are experiencing extremely high volume which is resulting in longer delivery times. When a preorder is offered, we are generally able to fulfill your preorder within 2-4 weeks.
How do I find out about preorder options?
When a product is available for preorder, we notify all customers who’ve signed up for in-stock updates via our website. To sign-up, go to the product page, click “sign-up for updates” and enter your email address. Valid on US orders only.
In addition to preorder, can I add more items to my basket that are currently in-stock?
At this time, preorders for hand sanitizer cannot be combined or merged with other products at check-out. Preorders cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.

Why are only some items available for preorder?
We are offering preorder on a few select items based on popularity. This helps us efficiently manufacture and deliver our hand sanitizer products to the most customers.
What’s the difference between preorder and “signing up for updates”?
- • Our preorder option is a new way to ensure you get product as soon as it is available. We know it is frustrating when a product you’ve been waiting for sells out in minutes. When you check out with a preorder item, we are processing your order payment so that your product is reserved and your order can be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis.
- • Signing up for updates will trigger an email when product is available but it does not guarantee it will be in stock.
Can I buy multiple units for preorder?
Due to the popularity of our hand sanitizer, we are limited to 1 SKU per transaction. This ensures as many people as possible can get the hand sanitizer product they need.
I received something I didn’t order. What do I do next?
If the item you want to return was shipped in error by EO Products, we apologize for the inconvenience and will arrange to pick up the product(s) at no cost to you. Please contact us.
What should I do if my order arrived damaged?
Your happiness with our natural products is extremely important to us. We’re happy to reship any items that were damaged in transit at no extra cost. Please contact us.

What do I do if my promo code doesn’t work?
Make sure you’re signed into your account. If you don’t have an account with EO Products, please take a few minutes to create one, and then enter the code again. If there’s still an issue, please contact customer service.
Can I get discount coupons?
We do not have coupons that are redeemable in stores, but we do offer promotions and sales through our brick and mortar retail partners. You can search for a store near you using our Store Locator. What is your promo code policy?
Customers are allowed to use one promo code per order; promo codes cannot be combined with other promo codes or discounts. Minimum purchase requirements must be met prior to tax & shipping. Offers cannot be applied to past purchases.

Are your essential oils safe to ingest?
While some essential oils are safe to ingest, many are not. Our essential oils are not labeled or sold as food products and we do not recommend ingesting them. Instead, our products are intended to be sold and used only as aromatherapy products.
A note about our Breath Spray:
Our Certified Organic Breath Spray contains peppermint and clove oils, as well as allspice and menthol extracts. This mixture has been blended by experts and is heavily diluted in amounts that make them safe for you to ingest. In the finished product these oils and extracts are diluted in water and organic alcohol to bring the concentration below 1%, then delivered through a spray mechanism that delivers 0.1 ml of formula per spray.
Are your Kids Soaps and Baby Washes tear-free?
Our Everyone 3-in-1 Soap for Kids are formulated with naturally mild coconut-based cleansers. We recommend using Everyone Kids Soap on children aged two years or older.
Our Everyone Baby Washes were formulated for babies under two. These are our mildest soaps. They are pH-balanced, made with the mildest cleansers, and contain no synthetic fragrances or dyes.
We’ve specifically chosen not to label these products “tear-free” since the ingredients commonly used to make products tear-free are actually harmful to the eyes. These ingredients include anesthetizing agents such as synthetic alkyl polyethoxylates and/or alkyl phenol polyethoxylates. These alkyl ingredients temporarily numb the eye so that the sting of the shampoo is not felt, and prevents the eye from forming a tear to flush away irritants. These ingredients are typically used in pesticide products to anesthetize insects, and they can penetrate the skin and cause organ toxicity in people. But if concerned, simply use a washcloth or bath visor to keep soap from getting in the eyes.
Are your products gluten-free?
All EO and Everyone brand products are certified gluten free.
How do I know the ingredients you use are safe?
We value our conscious customers and we welcome the opportunity to tell you what our company is doing right. EO Products is a Certified B-Corporation. That means we voluntarily agree to 3rd party oversight to ensure we meet higher standards of transparency, accountability and performance. At EO we recognize the interdependence of all living things and we take great pride in creating products that are good for both people and the planet. That philosophy is at the core of every aspect of our business, from developing our formulas to sourcing ingredients to manufacturing and operations. For the past 20 years we have been creating body care products using the cleanest ingredients available that are also safe and effective. We manufacture our own products so we can ensure our ingredients and sub-ingredients are sourced from like-minded responsible suppliers who also follow sustainable practices. While it’s sometimes necessary to include ingredients to keep a product safe from spoilage or contamination, our scientists draw on years of research and testing to find ingredients that will leave the least negative impact on the environment and consumers. We continue to learn by following new research, and because we control manufacturing, are able to respond quickly by changing our formulas if necessary.
Why do you use phenoxyethanol in your products?
Many customers are concerned about phenoxyethanol because there’s quite a bit of online controversy about its safety. You’ll find it being mentioned as everything from a developmental and reproductive toxicant to being linked to cancer. Fundamentally, it’s poorly interpreted science. Effective preservatives are vital for ensuring safety. Most personal care products are made with a lot of water and a variety of nutrients, which makes an incredibly hospitable breeding ground for microorganisms. Consider all of the natural oils and botanicals in EO and Everyone products. Why we use it: We use phenoxyethanol in a very low concentration as a preservative in our products because the most accessible alternatives for these types of formulas include parabens and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. Both are classes of chemicals with demonstrable evidence of potential health risks, whereas phenoxyethanol is very safe at low levels. It’s been tested on the skin and eyes and it is non-irritating and non-sensitizing at levels of 2.2% or lower while being effective at only 1% concentrations. The European Union and Japan both approve its use up to that 1% level and our formulas fall well below the recommendation at 0.5% or less (depending on the specific product). Most of the studies that have found significant negative health impacts are based on full-strength or high-dose exposures. In real life usage, exposures are quite small. That’s why it’s approved at levels up to 1%. It’s all about the final formulation. Even better, phenoxyethanol doesn’t react with other ingredients, air, or light. This kind of stability makes it an especially effective preservative. What’s more, it’s included in the Handbook of Green Chemicals and is also Whole Foods Premium Body Care approved. Their standards, developed by a team of scientists over the course of years, are some of the strictest available.
Why is benzyl alcohol listed as an ingredient in your Everyone Face Wipes when the package says alcohol free?
We use benzyl alcohol as a preservative at very low levels (less than 0.5%). Although this compound has a molecular group similar to alcohols (hence the name) it does not have physical and chemical properties of conventional alcohols, such as methanol and ethanol, and will not irritate the skin. Benzyl alcohol is, in fact, found naturally in many foods such as apricots, snap beans, cocoa, cranberries, mushrooms, and honey. Benzyl alcohol is also found in the essential oil of many plants, including jasmine, hyacinth and ylang-ylang.
Why do you use dimethicone in your products?
We use dimethicone in some of our products because it acts as a skin protectant and conditioning agent. We understand that there is concern with this ingredient. We take this very seriously, as we do with all our ingredients. And yet, we use it because we know that it is safe. Dimethicone is a silicone based polymer. Silicon is ubiquitous in the earth and silicon dioxide is common sand. Silicon, like carbon, can form polymers. Dimethicone in its simplest form (which we use) is a fluid mixture of siloxane polymers. It is clear, inert, non-toxic and non-flammable. Dimethicone has been assessed by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel, and the panel concluded that these ingredients were safe for use in cosmetics. The CIR Expert Panel considered it unlikely that any silicone polymers would be significantly absorbed into the skin due to the large molecular weight of these polymers – unlike smaller molecules like Parabens, propylene glycol, which we NEVER use. Additionally, the FDA reviewed the safety of dimethicone and approved its use as a skin protectant active ingredient in over-the-counter drug products and as a food ingredient. Silicones or “cones” come in a large variety of chemical forms based on adding chemical substitutions to the base molecule. In our opinion, these derivatives may not be as healthy a choice as the simple molecule and we do not use them.
Do your products contain peanuts or tree nuts?
None of our products contain peanut or peanut oil. Some of our products contain these tree nut oils:
- Coconut oil
- Sweet almond oil
- Macadamia nut oil
- Babassu oil
Should I be concerned about young boys using products that contain lavender essential oil?
There has been some concern about lavender essential oil causing hormone disruption in young boys. We’re happy to explain why this concern came up in the first place, and why it isn’t a problem for you and your family.
The whole thing started in Colorado, 2007. There was a doctor who diagnosed four cases of prepubertal gynecomasti, which is a condition in which young boys develop breasts. The boys were between the ages of 4 and 10, and all reportedly used products that contained lavender. That’s where things get a little hard to follow. The doctor failed to name the products, list other ingredients, or show that the products contained lavender essential oil. The products named were a healing balm, a styling gel, and a lavender-scented lotion.
The lack of information leads us to wonder what else was in the products and what was happening environmentally for these cases to crop up so close to each other.
Since we don’t have any other information from this study, we relied instead on modern studies that prove that lavender essential oil has little to no estrogenetic effects when used in levels far higher than can be found in any body care product (20,000 times more). We also rely on the thousands of years of lavender use without any report of this oil creating estrogenetic effects on young boys (or anyone, for that matter).
We’ve made gentle, effective, and safe products for our families and yours for 25 years. We use lavender essential oil in many of our favorite products, and we know it to be safe for you and your little ones.

I’m experiencing a reaction to one of your products. Aren’t they natural?
Our products are made with plant-based, non-GMO Project Verified, and organic ingredients, but that does not equate to allergen free. People can be allergic to plant sources, and an allergic reaction can happen at any time. It is not unusual for people to have a reaction to plant extracts any more than it is for people to have seasonal allergies, or a food allergy.
If you are experiencing a reaction, discontinue use immediately and see your health care provider if symptoms persist.
I’ve used one of your products for years with no issue but am now experiencing a reaction. Why would that happen?
Prolonged exposure to small amounts of an allergen can create an allergic reaction. If you are mildly allergic to a plant, flower or tree you may never notice a reaction unless you expose yourself to that ingredient regularly.
If you are experiencing a reaction, discontinue use immediately and see your healthcare provider if symptoms persist.
The pump on my soap/lotion doesn’t work. What should I do?
The pumps have a locking mechanism that sometimes gets jarred during shipping. Try to loosen and remove the top where it screws onto the neck, turn the pump a few times in each direction, then re-tighten the top onto the neck of the bottle. Then turn the pump in the open direction. It might not pop up, but should pump when you press down. If you continue to have trouble, please contact us and we can send a replacement pump.
How can I tell the expiration date on your products?
Our products have a shelf life of three years unopened and one year after they have been opened and used. We use a dating system called Julian dates. The expiration date for all of our products is coded with a set of nine or ten numbers (for example, 26939 29812) printed in yellow or red ink on the outside of the bottle (not on the label) near the bottom of the bottle. These can sometimes be hard to see so you may have to turn the bottle to get the correct light.
These numbers tell you the date the product was made, and from there you can calculate the expiration date. Disregard the first five numbers which refer to the lot number. The next five numbers show the day in the year (out of 365) that the product was made and the year. For example: in the number 26939 29812, that product was made on the 298th day of 2012.
