Camellia Japonica is a small flowering tree native to Korea and Japan. Called “Tsubaki’ in Japan and sometimes referred to as the “Rose of winter’ for the challenging season its flowers bloom in. Extracted from seeds, this nourishing oil has a high antioxidant value. Used in facial care products, Tsubaki oil can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles by improving the retention of moisture.
Calmellia Sinensis Extract (Organic)
Extracted from the evergreen shrub Camellia Sinensis whose leaves are used to make tea. Extracts of White Tea and Green Tea Leaves are high in plant-based antioxidant polyphenols, making it a great ingredient for skin care.
An herbal wax derived from the wild Euphorbia cerifera plant. Native to semi desert climates, this plant protects itself from adverse weather by covering itself in a greyish powder. This powder is actually mostly wax, helping the plant retain water and be protected against challenging weather. Similar to its functions in the plant, this wax is naturally emollient and protective in the formulations used for cosmetics. Its composition makes it an excellent substitute for plastic and rubber exfoliating products commonly found on the market.

The Glycerin we use is conscientiously sourced from Palm, Palm Kernel or Coconut. Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiable
Oil extracted from the wild Sunflower, native to North America. Small amounts of these unsaponifiable molecules are naturally present in Sunflower seed oil, and they are classified as noble molecules in view of their properties. Using a physical (solvent-free) process called “molecular distillation,” the unsaponifiable portion of the oil is concentrated to obtain this ingredient. It enhances the moisture retention capacity for optimal skin moisturization. This is possible by encouraging the production of key lipids ceramides, cerebrosides and cholesterols. Science!
Helichrysum Italicum Oil
The essential oil is steam distilled from the blossoms of the Helichrysum italicum plant. From the daisy family Asteraceae, this plant is also called Everlasting or Immortelle. It grows on dry, rocky or sandy ground around the Mediterranean. It is used as a fixative in perfumes and has an intense fragrance.

Sea Buckthorn fruit oil is a great gift to the skin, possessing high levels of antioxidants which help replenish the skin. It improves the appearance of skin. It is rich in Vitamins A and E, carotenoids and rare palmitoleic acid.

Laminaria Saccharina Extract
Laminaria Saccharina Algae is manually harvested from the cold waters of the North Atlantic before the area is covered by ice. The plant grows up to 1cm/day during the summer period and accumulates nutrients and polysaccharides (laminarans) to survive throughout the winter season when water temperatures are as low as 1°C. It uses these nutrients and polysaccharides to restart the growth phase the following spring. When the Algae is exposed to such extreme conditions, the activation of selective metabolic pathways is triggered as well as the production of specific compounds within the Algae tissues. This hardy, nutrient-loaded plant makes an excellent ingredient in body care products. Especially beneficial to skin, this Algae extract moisturizes skin and decreases the appearance of wrinkles.Lamium Album Flower Extract

Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil
Macadamia is native to Queensland and New South Wales. It was introduced into Hawaii in 1881 and also grows well in Coastal California. Macadamia nut oil is one of the highest plant derived sources of palmitoleic acid, which protects the skin lipids. High levels of essential fatty acids lend Macadamia nut oil its powerful skin moisturizing benefits. It is used in skin care for its emollient and skin conditioning properties.
Magnesium Sulfate is also known as Epsom salt and is often used in a bath soak.
Maltodextrin is a sugar sourced from starch. Used in body care products as a hair and skin-conditioning agent. An emulsion stabilizer, it is used to maintain the free flow properties of spray dried solids.

Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil
Moringa is a tree native to the foothills of the Himalayas and widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical areas. Its vitamin-rich mature seeds yield edible oil also called Ben oil for its high concentration of behenic acid, which has been shown to improve the appearance and smoothness of skin. Easily absorbed in skin, this light oil is naturally antioxidant and emollient (moisturizing).
Moroccan Lava Clay
Sourced from deep within the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, this incredible clay has been used since the 12th century for skin and hair treatments. Also called Rhassoul clay, it contains high percentages of skin loving minerals silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium. These minerals make the clay highly detoxifying as they can remove impurities in skin like makeup, dirt and environmental pollutants. It removes all surface oil from clogged pores, removes dead skin layers, resulting in an improvement of smoothness on the skin’s surface.

Also high in skin-loving vitamins and minerals, the oil is more than 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Oil
Sweet basil oil. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the fresh leaves.
Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil
Native to North America, Oenothera biennis is a small, yellow-flowered plant that blooms in the evening. Cold pressed from the plant’s seeds, Evening Primrose oil is calming to the skin and contains large amounts (60-85%) of gamma linolenic acid, an essential fatty acid which promotes smoothness of skin.
Olive (Olea Europaea) Oil (Organic)
Oh, Olive oil. One of our favorite and most frequently used ingredients! This beautiful oil is from the Olive fruit using cold press extraction and decanting methods. Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit

Used in hair care products, this extract softens and nourishes hair and scalp. In skin care, Avocado extract acts as a sebum substitute and works to moisturize.
Phenoxyethanol can be found naturally in products such as Green Tea but is often synthesized for commercial use. It is commonly used as a replacement for parabens to preserve products and prevent microbial contamination. Phenoxyethanol has been studied by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel and has been deemed practically nontoxic when taken internally or put on the skin. We use it as a mild preservative.
Pine Essential Oil
Steam distilled from the needles of the Pine tree, this woodsy oil has a refreshing and invigorating aroma. Pine is our reminder to go with the flow of life.
Crisp, refreshing Pineapple is loaded with Vitamin C, making its extract an excellent nourishing and cleansing ingredient. Alpha hydroxyl acids lend this extract its mild exfoliating properties and its ability to refine the skin. Naturally astringent, Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain. Not only is it delicious, it’s soothing and moisturizing, making Pineapple extract a great ingredient for skin care products.

A natural surfactant (emulsifier and cleansing agent) derived from Coconut oil. Essentially it is soap, produced by a process called saponification, which combines the salts and fatty acids from Coconut oil with potassium hydroxide. It’s how our products get their great foam, naturally!
Potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbic acid. It is a natural, organic compound used as a preservative. It is effective in a variety of applications including food, wine and personal care products. Sorbic acid obtained its name from the scientific name for Mountain Ash tree (Sorbus aucuparia, Linne), the parent of the Rowan Berry. A great alternative to parabens, we use it as a gentle preservative.
Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil
Wonderful Pomegranate is native from Iran to the Himalayas in Northern India. It has been cultivated and naturalized over the whole Mediterranean region since ancient times. Pomegranate seed oil is high in antioxidants. It is also rich in punicic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid. Used in skincare, this fabulous oil has been shown to promote rejuvenation of the skin. Additionally, it is a rich source of several polyphenols and anthocyanidins that have been shown to support general skin appearance.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil
Castor is indigenous to the southeastern Mediterranean Basin, Eastern Africa, and India, but is widespread throughout tropical regions. The seeds contain between 40% and 60% oil that is rich in triglycerides.
Rose absolute is an essential oil obtained by solvent extraction from Rose flowers. It is very precious and costly, as it can take over 60,000 roses to make just one liter of Rose absolute. Rose has been used throughout time as a beauty treatment. Especially good for dry, sensitive or mature skin because of its rejuvenating properties. Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the fluid around joints and in the skin. It's abundant in young skin, but declines as we age.
Sodium Hydroxide is an alkaline pH adjuster – it is alkaline and helps balance acidic skin.
Sodium Lauroamphoacetate is a very mild foaming and cleansing agent. It is derived from Coconut.
Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate
This cleanser is derived from Coconut and Sugar.
Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate
A cleanser derived from Coconut and amino acids. It is mild and conditioning.
This sugarcane-derived preservative has skin-conditioning properties.
Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate
This high foaming, mild, conditioning cleanser is derived from Coconut fatty acid and amino acid.
Sodium Myristoyl Sarcosinate
It’s a chelator and replaces EDTA – which bioaccumulates in the water with its attached heavy metals. It is the salt of Phytic acid, which is derived from Rice.
A salt (sodium) from the phytic acid derived from rice, used in part with our gentle preservative system for antimicrobial purposes against contamination.
