Vetiveria Zizanioides Root Oil

Vetiver is a base note that blends beautifully with clary sage, jasmine, lavender, patchouli, sandalwood, and ylang ylang.

Blending factor: 1

(What is a blending factor? A 1-10 scale indicating the aromatic strength of each essential oil. 1 = the oil is more potent and you need less of it. 10 = the oil is less potent and you will need more of it.)

Vetiver is our reminder that we are all interconnected. With its grassy overtones, vetiver can trigger the recall of the full sensory experience of our natural world. Add vetiver to a diffuser blend and fill an otherwise stuffy, lifeless space with fresh vitality.

When we smell good things, we feel better. Essential oils allow us to easily enjoy the simple magic of our natural world. They give us access to the flowers, trees, spices, and resins that can soothe our senses. Natural scents are healthier for our bodies, too. No phthalates or hidden endocrine disruptors. Just pure plant essences.

How to use
  • • Add to a diffuser to naturally scent any space.
  • • Create your own natural perfume with your favorite combination of essential oils. Blend into a base oil (like jojoba or sweet almond) and fill a small, glass bottle.
  • • Drop directly on shower floor while waiting for the water to warm up. Let the steam release the oils and transform your shower into a spa.
  • • Blend into body oil or lotion to enhance its scent and aromatherapeutic benefits.
  • • Drop directly into bath water for an aromatherapeutic soak.
  • • Add to a compress submerged in a bowl of warm or cold water. Ring out, drape across your forehead, and breath deeply.
  • • Remember, essential oils are very concentrated. A little bit goes a long way. Start with one drop at a time. Essential oils should always be diluted to enjoy safely.
